The Prying Mantis in the Spiral Maze Pattern
Artistcrafts offers the best selection of hand-made, artistic
lighter sleeves on the net! Each lighter sleeve is a one of a kind
piece of art. Everyone will know which lighter is yours when you
keep it in one of our covers. All of our lighter covers fit standard
Bic disposable lighters. We offer two types of lighter sleeves: the nickel
silver sleeve and the "Prying Mantis" combination lighter sleeve/bottle
opener. Each lighter sleeve is veneered with a layer of polymer clay
in your choice of colors and patterns. Please visit the

 Mica
Mokume Gane Lighter Sleeves
Mica Mokume Gane is made from layers of translucent clay, tinted with
mica powders. Ocean Mokume Gane Lighter
Sleeves are our MOST popular Mokume Gane pattern, and can be ordered
online. (For further explanation of how Mokume Gane is made,
please see our tutorial.)
Mica Mokume Gane is available in other color families as well. The
mica powders cause the lighter covers to shimmer, and their look changes
according to how light is reflected off of the sleeve. Mica Mokume
Gane Lighter Covers are available on your choice of background colors,
and on your choice of a nickel silver sleeve or a prying mantis (lighter
cover/bottle opener) sleeve. When you order, either pick a
background color, and Laurel will combine it with a complementing mokume
gane, or specify a color family, and Laurel will create a mokume gane
lighter cover incorporating those colors. If ordering by Paypal,

 Spiral
Maze Lighter Covers
Spiral Maze Lighter Covers are one of our most popular designs.
A spiral maze cane consists of two colors of clay, rolled up together,
recombined, then distorted. Laurel usually uses one metallic color
and a contrasting opaque color when making these canes. Individual
cane slices are recombined into a sheet, then used to veneer the lighter
sleeve. A purple/silver and a gold/black spiral maze lighter cover
are shown above.
 Foiled
Mokume Gane Lighter Covers
Laurel creates a variety of beautiful mokume ganes incorporating
colored foils and/or silver leaf. (For examples of such lighter
sleeves, please visit the gallery.)
We can make foiled mokume gane lighters to your specifications.
When you order, either pick a background color, and Laurel will combine
it with a complementing foiled mokume gane, or specify two colors, and
Laurel will create a foiled mokume gane lighter cover incorporating
those colors. If ordering by Paypal, please use the "comments"
